SPECIES INFO:

Name: Airean

Lifespan: 50-60 years

Common Habitats: Alora. Only seen near Sunset Rock.

Diet: Fresh meat, some plants.

Population: Very Rare - only about 5-7 reported in the wild at present.

Airean are considered a 'holy' species. They are incredibly hard to find, and most gijinka will never see one in their entire life. They are regarded as Alora's national treasure. To see one is said to bring good luck and wealth to ones family - but this is yet to be proven, and most likely a myth.

To some, the Airean are known as the summer Gods 'beast form' - telling the story of Ayre morphing into the form of an Airean during an attack on Alora. This however, isn't true and never happened, but Ayre and Aireans are still pictured together in paintings, sculptures, and fairy tales.

Airean lambs and pure white, and gain their gold markings as they age. The mother and father Aireans mate for life and will almost always be seen together, even when hunting, and will only produce two or three Lambs in their life. Airean females are slightly smaller than the male, and have no horns. Aireans also have a language of their own that sounds much like soft bird call - but no Gijinka has ever been able to study a Airean long enough to learn their language.

They are carnivores, and will attack and eat anything - even a gijinka - if they pose a threat to their Lamb. However, pose no threat, and they will be calm and gentle. They can run as fast as any horse.

I looooove this creature! It's colors, proportions and creative ideal are all wonderful. I really adore the shape of its muzzle and the color of its eyes too. <3 Lovely use of gradients and incorporating so many different things!

I don't care if they're incredibly hard to find and a holy species, I want one. ;A; -shotdead-
