Great tutorial and thanks for sharing what tool where, I've come across many tutorials and this is the first that has mentioned of layer clipping, while I'm sure many others use it, this one actually addresses that aspect and I quite enjoy now knowing
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm normally used to drawing on paper, old fashioned style, but I'm just now starting to use SAI. This tutorial has been AWESOME! But for some reason, I don't have the airbrush tool. Do you know where you can get the airbrush tool? Thanks.
As a photoshop user, Paint Tool SAI was totally overwhelming when I first got it. Your tutorial is so helpful and explains the tools enough for me to understand them. It also encourages me to play around with the other tools not used in this tutorial to get to know SAI a little better. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this, it's really helpful!
The Pro version is about $50.00 or something like that, but there is a free trial version, or freeware-type. I had it before, I just can't remember if it's a trial or not. If you Google around a bit, you can find a full version for free. (Shhhhh)
*sorry if i end up saying something you already know* XD you may have to set the layer mode from "Normal" to "Multiply" and it'll make the white spaces of your lineart transparent OvO (i hope i helped a little!)
I feel so completely dumb. I have the program, had the line art I'm getting ready to draw...I get the pen size all set up I go to draw....and nothing. It wont let me color/write at all. It's not my tablet becuase in p.net I can draw and in Photoshop i can draw. I'm using a webcom. How do I get the drawing program to let me..yeah know draw
Hey! This is really nice. ^-^ I like it a lot. It has some useful tips, especially about some of the tools that I haven't tried before. By the way, your style of drawing is pretty impressive, very polished and nicely finished overall. Keep up the great work, and thanks for the tutorial
