I was just starting to do digital & naturally, when I was doing lineart, I used the lineart layer on sai. Which do you prefer to use: lineart or regular layer? & why?

Some of your tutorials are slightly confusing. That, or it could just be me. Do you use pen for lineart? Or do you use the airbrush? which is better for just sketching?

I use a very popular drawing tablet called Wacom Bamboo? It's got the pressure sensitive pen which is what she mentions in the second paragraph of phase 3.

Am I the only person who can't do sketching? I hate it when people make tutorials and assume that you know what you are doing. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING, IF I DID THEN I WOULDN'T BE LOOKING FOR A TUTORIAL.

Sorry to interrupt~
Sketching is how you draw and that's pretty hard to explain it because that's just how you draw~
If you feel you can't do sketching then you have to see another tuto about how to draw first not lineart-ing first^^

Okay so can you please explain the coloring your lineart part for me one more time?

It says that after you hide your lineart then you can color but then you said after your done coloring THEN you can color your lineart...

Lol What am I coloring first? did you just mean to change the color of the lineart from Brown to black?

Sorry to interrupt ^^"
But just like the tutorial said, first you have to sketch in a layer (a sketch don't have to be so good, you just have to draw to get a bigger picture in your head ^^) and then add another layer ABOVE the sketch layer to lineart-ing the sketch. It's just like tracing your art but neater:3 oh and this tuto fav.me/d2qg3ga maybe can explain better?
Hope this help~

Your size 7 pen tool lines seem so much smoother and dynamic than mine do. What is your stabilizer at? Have you changed any pen settings? Haha..

I was just wondering--and sorry if this has been asked before--what do you recommend as the starting resolution/size of your pictures before they're completed?
I've heard all sorts of things--5000x5000, 2000x2000, etc., but you seem to really know what you're doing so I think you would know best ouo

Thank you, and again I'm really sorry if someone has already asked this.

How do you make the lines go from thin to thick? I was able to do it before but something messed up in my SAI and it won't work right now >_<

You might have accidentally moved the "Min size" bar. Make sure it's at zero.

If that doesn't fix it, close SAI and restart. It happens on its own rarely.
